Rachel Oatridge

Hey, I’m Rachel — the owner, designer, and printer behind Milo Nine! My services include graphic design and letterpress printing for wedding invitations, stationery, and special projects.

I’m currently based in Rochester, New York, where I work in advertising and live with my husband, Ryan, and our many pets. I studied Visual Communications at Cazenovia College before moving to Rochester and taking up an artist-in-residence position with the Flower City Arts Center, where I fell head-over-heels in love with printing. Besides being a graphic designer and a letterpress printer, I’m also a total stationery addict, television binge-watching extraordinaire, vintage enthusiast, avid thrift shopper, and a Hufflepuff.

I’m really looking forward to helping you with your design project!

Rachel and I first worked together to design my wedding invitations and we’ve continued to work together for all my stationery needs since. She is a talented designer who has an excellent attention to detail, is easy to work with, and always professional. I’ve received so many compliments on everything Rachel has created for me.

What I appreciate most about working with Rachel is her ability to work with varying degrees of direction (sometimes I know exactly what I want and sometimes I’m more vague) and her amazing service. Everything she creates is beautiful, unique, and very high quality. I highly recommend Rachel for your stationery needs.

I’ve been collaborating with Rachel since 2008, when she came on board as the Graphic Designer of our high school yearbook when I was the Editor-In-Chief. Since then, she’s deigned my website and logos/ posters for various films I’ve made. I love working with Rachel because she always understands the project’s needs and my vision, and brings her own artistry to it. Her work is always so incredibly beautiful.

Rachel was such a joy to work with, and I still receive compliments from my wedding on her work. Although I had already picked out my invitations before meeting Rachel, she designed matching envelopes that complimented the original invitation perfectly. When my invitations came in the wrong dimensions (through a different vendor), Rachel dropped everything to help me cut them all down to size.

Rachel took my vision of a book themed wedding and made it a reality by designing and letter pressing table signs, stamps, bar signs, etc. The week of the wedding Rachel designed and printed additional wedding signs for me at the very last minute. She is creative, enthusiastic, dependable, and very reasonably priced. I have passed her information along to many friends and relatives already, and I strongly recommend Rachel for any and all designing and printing needs. She allowed me to be part of the creative process by helping me letterpress which was a great hands-on learning experience.
